Sunset Shoot · Ibiza
Ibiza is world-famous for its sunsets. Ninety minutes of golden light that turns almost any subject into a photo you'll never forget.
Ibiza's reputation for sunsets is well earned. In the final 90 minutes before dusk, the island's west coast transforms: the light turns golden, soft, warm. Hard shadows disappear. The colours of the sky and sea blend into one another.
A shoot in this window needs no elaborate staging. The light does half the work. Whether you're a couple, a family, a group or travelling solo — these 90 minutes are simply the most beautiful of the day on Ibiza, and that shows clearly in the photos.
The light won't wait. That's why we plan everything precisely.
We look up the exact sunset time for your holiday date and plan the shoot so we catch the best light right on cue. We meet on location 90 minutes before sunset.
The finest sunsets are on the west coast: Cala Conta, Café del Mar, Punta Galera. We'll recommend the spot that suits your accommodation and gives you the best light.
Over these 90 minutes the light shifts from warm golden afternoon light to soft evening tones and finally the blue hour after the sun drops. Each phase is different, all are beautiful. We make full use of every one.
That same night you'll receive the link to your online gallery with all images ready to download. No waiting until the end of your holiday to see the pictures.
Ibiza's west coast sets the stage. We know the finest spots on it.
Ibiza's most famous sunset beach. Flat rock slabs, turquoise water, a sky that turns orange and pink. Nowhere else on the island captures this image.
The classicSan Antonio's most iconic sunset spot. The wide bay, the water, the silhouettes of the rocks. Ibiza's best-known evening ritual for decades.
IconicFlat rock slabs right at the water's edge, no sandy beach, no bars — just rock and sea. A wild, raw spot where the sunset feels especially still and concentrated.
Raw & spectacularThe mystical Es Vedrà rock silhouetted against the evening sky, with the coastline near Cala d'Hort in the foreground. For photos that show a perspective unique to Ibiza.

We booked last-minute on the second-to-last day of our holiday and the team still made Cala Conta work. The light that evening was incredible. The photos look professionally staged, yet everything was completely natural.
With three children I was sceptical about whether the sunset timing would work. The team planned everything so we arrived early enough and the kids still had energy. The photos in that golden light are the most beautiful we've ever had as a family.
They know the best position on every rock. They took us to spots we'd never have found on our own. That same evening we had 80 photos to browse. It was the best experience of our entire Ibiza holiday.
In summer (July/August) usually between 9:15 and 9:30 pm. A little earlier in May and June, and earlier again in September. We check the exact time for your date and plan the shoot accordingly. We always start 90 minutes beforehand.
Light cloud cover can be stunning. The light becomes diffuse and soft, and the sky colours are sometimes even more dramatic than on a clear day. With heavy cloud cover we'll discuss whether to reschedule or shoot anyway.
Cala Conta for the classic Ibiza image with rocks and water. Café del Mar if you prefer a bay setting. Punta Galera for something rawer and quieter. It depends on where you're staying and what mood you're after. Tell us your location and we'll recommend the best nearby option.
For a sunset shoot we usually recommend staying in one place and making the most of the changing light there. In the High package we can combine two nearby spots if the timing allows.
Usually 60 to 90 minutes, from shortly before to shortly after sunset. That's enough time to capture the warm evening light and the blue hour that follows. With young children we plan a little less time so they don't get overtired.
For everyone. Couples, families, individuals, groups. Sunset light makes almost any situation look beautiful. It's also the most popular time for proposals and after-wedding shoots on Ibiza.
Ibiza's sunset is world-famous, and for good reason. The island's west coast has a geographical position that holds the evening light warm and long. The final 90 minutes before the sun drops — the so-called golden hour — are simply the best that nature offers photography on a daily basis.
Cala Conta is Ibiza's most celebrated sunset beach: flat rock slabs, turquoise water, a sky that turns orange and pink. Café del Mar in San Antonio has been the island's most iconic evening ritual for decades. Punta Galera offers raw rock slabs away from the tourist crowds. All three locations are within a short drive of each other.
We've been photographing on Ibiza since 2009 and know every one of these spots in every kind of light. A sunset shoot for us isn't a staged production — it's making full use of a light that happens every day but never looks the same twice. Photos from the same evening, online that same evening.
Tell us when you'll be on Ibiza and which location appeals to you. We'll get back to you within 12 hours with a concrete proposal including the exact time.
